Soprano (lyric)
A Guatemalan-French lyric soprano of uncommon versatility, Adriana González has emerged as a rising international voice through her command of the Mozart-Verdi repertoire and her triumphs at prestigious European opera houses.
Defining moments and milestones
After completing her undergraduate training in Guatemala, González relocated to Paris in 2014 to enter the prestigious Atelier Lyrique de l'Opéra national de Paris, where she performed in productions at the Palais Garnier and refined her craft under world-class mentorship. Following her graduation from the Paris Opera Academy in 2017, she was invited to the Zurich Opera's International Opera Studio, a decisive move that accelerated her European career and led to engagements at major houses across the continent. Her 2019 victory at the Operalia Competition established her as an artist of international standing, and she has since become a regular presence in the lyric soprano repertoire at leading European opera houses and American regional companies.
