Stage Door Society treats your data as a sovereign asset. This Privacy Policy describes how SDS LLC collects, uses, retains, and protects your information when you use the Platform.
By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. This policy applies to the stagedoorsociety.com website and all related applications and services.
Account information: email address, display name, and profile preferences provided at registration.
Usage data: watchlist selections, performance check-ins, search queries, and feature usage, collected to personalize your experience and improve the Platform.
Payment information: processed by Stripe, Inc. SDS does not store raw payment card data. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data.
Analytics: aggregate, anonymized usage metrics collected via Umami Analytics (privacy-first, no cross-site tracking) and Google Analytics 4. Error telemetry collected via Sentry, Inc.
Push notification tokens: if you opt in to push notifications, your device token is stored to deliver alerts you have requested.
To operate and maintain your account, deliver subscription features, and process payments.
To personalize your discovery experience, including watchlist recommendations and performance alerts.
To send service communications, including subscription receipts, product updates, and (with your consent) editorial newsletters.
To monitor platform health, detect abuse, and improve the service.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
Your watchlist, preferences, and personal data are isolated using Row Level Security in our database. No other user or staff member can access your personal data without explicit authorization.
Data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and encrypted at rest. We maintain zero-trust internal architecture.
Account data is retained for the duration of your account and for up to 90 days following account deletion to facilitate fraud prevention and legal obligations.
Anonymized, aggregate analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Requests can be submitted to privacy@stagedoorsociety.com. Deletion is completed within 30 days.
If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have additional rights under the GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
California residents have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to opt out of its sale (we do not sell personal data).
SDS uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. No third-party advertising cookies are set.
Analytics cookies from Umami and Google Analytics 4 collect anonymized usage data. You may opt out of Google Analytics using Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Do Not Track (DNT) signals from browsers are respected for third-party analytics but cannot disable essential session cookies.
The Platform is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact privacy@stagedoorsociety.com immediately.
The Platform integrates with third-party services (Stripe, Supabase, Sentry, Umami, Google Analytics, Resend) under their respective privacy policies. SDS is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.
