This Data Policy explains what data Stage Door Society holds, where it comes from, how we use it, and the controls available to you. It covers two distinct domains: the public catalog (works, productions, recordings, venues, people, financial and box-office data the Platform indexes from public sources) and your personal account data. For the personal-data specifics, this policy works alongside our Privacy Policy; where they overlap, the Privacy Policy governs personal information and this policy governs catalog and platform data practices.
Stage Door Society is operated by Legacy Group International, LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as Stage Door Society ('Stage Door Society', 'SDS', 'we', or 'us'). For questions about this policy or to exercise any right described below, contact privacy@stagedoorsociety.com.
This policy applies to the stagedoorsociety.com website and all related applications and services.
Catalog and intelligence data: factual records about works, productions, recordings, performances, streaming availability, venues, people, awards, and organizational and box-office financial data. This is information about the performing-arts world, aggregated from public sources — not personal data about you.
Account data: the email address, display name, and profile preferences you provide at registration, together with your subscription tier and status.
Activity data: watchlist selections, favorites, performance check-ins, search queries, alerts you configure, and feature usage, used to operate and personalize your experience.
Payment data: handled by Stripe, Inc.; SDS does not store raw payment card data.
Technical and analytics data: aggregate, anonymized usage metrics via Umami (privacy-first, no cross-site tracking) and Google Analytics 4, and error telemetry via Sentry, Inc. If you opt in to push notifications, a device token is stored to deliver alerts you requested.
Public and official sources: rights-holder and venue websites, public regulatory and financial filings (for example, nonprofit disclosures and federal grant records), official streaming platforms, and other publicly available information.
Licensed and partner data sources and APIs used under their respective terms.
Automated pipelines that combine web indexing, third-party APIs, and AI synthesis to compile catalog and editorial content. AI-generated or synthesized content is labeled where it appears and may contain inaccuracies.
Information you provide directly: account details, profile content, watchlist and activity, and any content you submit.
To operate the catalog and discovery experience, deliver subscription features, process payments, and provide the alerts and personalization you request.
To compile, verify, and improve catalog accuracy, and to produce editorial and intelligence content.
To monitor platform health, prevent abuse and fraud, and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
We hold catalog data to a strict accuracy standard: a fact is surfaced publicly only when it is verified and current; where we cannot verify a fact, we prefer to show nothing rather than show something wrong. Catalog data is nonetheless compiled from external sources and automated pipelines and may contain errors, omissions, or delays, and is provided for informational purposes only.
If you are a performer, photographer, venue, organization, rights holder, or representative and you identify an inaccuracy, or wish to request correction, attribution, or removal, contact privacy@stagedoorsociety.com or use the report control on the relevant page. We review and respond to valid requests promptly. Copyright and rights-holder requests are handled under our Takedown Policy and the intellectual-property terms in our Terms of Service.
Third-party images, names, titles, trademarks, production artwork, venue images, and performer photographs are displayed solely for contextual identification, cultural discovery, factual reporting, commentary, indexing, and linking to official sources, and remain the property of their respective owners. Where known, images are attributed to their source. To request correction, attribution, or removal of an image, contact privacy@stagedoorsociety.com.
We rely on the following processors, each governed by its own privacy terms: Supabase (database, authentication, and storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional and opt-in email), Vercel (hosting and content delivery), Sentry (error telemetry), Umami and Google Analytics 4 (analytics). SDS is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of these services.
SDS operates from the United States, and our processors may store and process data in the United States and other jurisdictions. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on the safeguards offered by our processors and applicable legal transfer mechanisms.
Account data is retained for the duration of your account and for up to 90 days following account deletion to support fraud prevention and legal obligations. Anonymized, aggregate analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
Catalog and intelligence data is retained as part of the public catalog; superseded or unverifiable records are archived rather than silently deleted, consistent with our accuracy practices.
You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of your personal data at any time by contacting privacy@stagedoorsociety.com. Deletion is completed within 30 days.
If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR, including data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. California residents have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to opt out of its sale (we do not sell personal data).
Cookies and analytics: SDS uses essential cookies for authentication and session management and sets no third-party advertising cookies. You may opt out of Google Analytics using Google's opt-out browser add-on. See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for detail.
Your personal data is isolated using Row Level Security in our database, encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest. No other user can access your personal data without explicit authorization. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Data Policy from time to time. We will provide notice of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
