VOX Call for Scores!

Applications are now open for VOX. This opportunity invites composers of all ages who are U.S. citizens and permanent residents to present excerpts of their operatic works in a public setting. American opera is currently experiencing a thrilling resurgence of creative energy, with innovative composers and librettists writing for risk-taking singers and musicians, reaching an expanding audience eager to experience cutting-edge work. Despite this flourishing landscape, artists are finding opportunities to workshop and refine pieces on a grand scale increasingly rare. This gap is where VOX steps in. Performing at the stunning new PAC NYC, VOX will showcase four in-process works of scale in New York City, offering a rare platform for artists from across the country to present new creations.
