23rd Khachaturian International Competition 06 - 13 June, 2027 Khachaturian International Competition in Piano is now open for applications! The Khachaturian International Competition, a proud member of the WFIMC, was established on June 6, 2003, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of renowned Armenian composer Aram Khachaturian. Organized by the Aram Khachaturian Cultural Foundation in collaboration with the Republic of Armenia’s Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport, the competition continues to celebrate and promote young musical talent. The Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, led by its Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Sergey Smbatyan, is the official orchestra of the competition. The submission deadline is April 10, 2027.
