Orchestra's Conductor - democratic competition

In cooperation with the Brașov Philharmonic Orchestra, we are delighted to announce the 6th edition of the Orchestra’s Conductor Competition, to be held in Brașov, Romania, from 4 to 10 June 2027. Applications are open from 15 October 2026 to 1 February 2027. Conductors of all nationalities are welcome to apply. There is no age limit. The competition offers a unique opportunity for conductors to be evaluated and selected by the orchestra’s own musicians. This innovative concept has already attracted considerable interest from conductors worldwide. The winner will be invited to return to conduct the host orchestra in future seasons, with potential opportunities for further engagements with other orchestras. Orchestra directors, representatives of international artist management agencies, and music journalists will be invited to attend the final round. www.orchestrasconductor.com
