Mezzo-Soprano
Beginning her artistic journey as a child dancer in Guatemala before immigrating to Canada at nineteen, Alexandra Lainfiesta trained intensively across multiple institutions and emerged as a versatile performer equally at home in classical repertoire and contemporary musical theatre. Her breakthrough came through ensemble work at the Stratford Festival, where she has become a recurring presence, while simultaneously earning critical recognition in independent productions—most notably winning the Jessie Richardson Award for her lead performance in *Green Lake* (2017). Today, she operates at the intersection of acting, singing, and playwriting, bringing a distinctly bilingual and bicultural sensibility to roles that span Shakespeare, operetta, and contemporary drama.
Jessie Richardson Award for Best Lead Actor for her role as Jane in *Green Lake* with Solo Collective Theatre (2017)
