Amy Lane's career in opera direction began in London's West End theatre before transitioning to opera through stage management roles with Diva Opera. She joined The Royal Opera, Covent Garden in 2005, where she worked on over twenty-five productions and rose to Head Staff Director (2015–2019), establishing herself as a meticulous and trusted collaborator with singers and conductors.
