Defining moments and milestones
After completing her conservatory training in Turin, Pirozzi made her professional debut in 2012 as Amelia in Un ballo in maschera at Teatro Regio Turin, but her meteoric rise to international prominence came months later with her performance as Abigaille at the Salzburg Festival under Riccardo Muti. Over the past twelve years, she has become the pre-eminent interpreter of Verdi's most demanding dramatic soprano roles, performing at every major opera house on the globe and earning recognition as one of the finest voices of her generation.
