Trained at Jacques Lecoq's legendary Paris studio, Annabel Arden co-founded Théâtre de Complicité in 1983, establishing herself as a pioneering director and performer of physical, visually inventive theatre. Over four decades, she has created and directed landmark productions across theatre and opera, from *The Street of Crocodiles* to *Andrea Chénier*, earning an Olivier Award and international recognition for her sophisticated command of ensemble work and visual storytelling.
