From her debut as Donna Anna in 2004, Grigorian spent a formative decade establishing herself across the Baltic and European regions before her electrifying 2014 breakthrough as Cio-Cio-San in Stockholm. Her 2017 Salome at Salzburg—a performance hailed as definitive—catapulted her to the world's greatest stages, where she has since become renowned for her fearless dramatic intensity and vocal richness across the soprano repertoire, from Puccini and Strauss to Shostakovich and Janáček.
Austrian Music Theater Award for Best Female Lead for her title role performance in Salome at the Salzburg Festival (2019); also named Female Singer of the Year at the International Opera Awards (2019 and 2025)
