Defining moments and milestones
Trenary began her professional journey as an apprentice with ABT Studio Company in 2011, joining American Ballet Theatre's corps de ballet that November at age seventeen. She rose swiftly through the ranks, establishing herself as a principal dancer of exceptional range—equally commanding in the classical repertoire and in the demanding contemporary works of today's leading choreographers. Her 2020 promotion to principal dancer at ABT, followed by her engagement with the Vienna State Ballet, cemented her status as one of the most accomplished American ballet dancers of her generation.
