Christopher Lloyd's six-decade career has established him as one of American theatre and cinema's most distinctive character actors, renowned for his fearless interpretation of eccentric, often unsettling figures. Rising from respected stage work to film prominence, Lloyd became a master of the unexpected—equally commanding in Shakespearean roles, contemporary drama, and genre cinema—bringing intellectual rigor and anarchic energy to characters that defined entire films. His legacy rests on an extraordinary ability to inhabit the margins of narrative, transforming supporting roles into unforgettable portraits of genius, villainy, and cosmic otherness.
