American
Clint Farha arrived at Het Nationale Ballet in 1972 as a promising American dancer and quickly ascended to first soloist rank under the mentorship of choreographer Rudi van Dantzig, becoming a cornerstone interpreter of the company's contemporary and classical repertoire. Over 26 years, he created memorable performances in van Dantzig's emotionally demanding works, danced alongside prima ballerinas in the company's most prestigious productions, and notably replaced Rudolf Nureyev in a major pas de deux. In his later career, Farha transitioned to choreography, developing original works for Het Nationale Ballet and independent companies before retiring in 1998.
