Career Trajectory

Trained rigorously at two of America's premier conservatories—Curtis Institute and Juilliard—under distinguished pedagogues, Colin Aikins emerged as a 2023 Schwab Vocal Rising Star with a refined lyric tenor voice suited to both contemporary opera and the classical repertoire. His professional debut as Timothy Laughlin in *Fellow Travelers* at Seattle Opera in 2025 marked the beginning of a career trajectory anchored by a prestigious residency at Hamburg's International Opera Studio, one of Europe's most selective young artist programs.
