Tenor
Les Pêcheurs de Perles as Nadir · Teatro alla Scala · Feb 7, 2027
A product of Russia's elite choral conservatory system, Dmitry Korchak emerged as an internationally competitive tenor following his breakthrough competition victories in 2004, subsequently establishing himself as a sophisticated interpreter of bel canto across the world's major opera houses. Parallel to his performing career, he has assumed increasingly prominent roles in artistic mentorship, founding a study program in memory of his teacher Viktor Popov and directing the World Opera Workshop Laboratory for young singers. His career exemplifies the Russian tradition of the complete musician—equally accomplished on the operatic stage and the conductor's podium, and deeply committed to the transmission of musical culture to the next generation.
Alexander Sveshnikov Moscow Choral College; Victor Popov Academy of Choral Art (conducting and singing, post-graduate studies completed 2004)
