Signature Roles
Quilleré's trajectory exemplifies the classical ballet pathway of the late twentieth century: discovered and nurtured by Nureyev at the Paris Opera, he developed into a principal dancer of considerable range, equally at home in the classical canon and the avant-garde works of Béjart and MacMillan. His ascent through the company ranks—from corps to premier danseur—reflected both technical mastery and the interpretive intelligence required of a dancer who could embody everything from the Jester in *Swan Lake* to Puck in Neumeier's *A Midsummer Night's Dream*. In recent decades, he has channeled his deep knowledge of the repertoire and his experience as a performer into directing, teaching, and artistic leadership, becoming a mentor to the next generation of dancers.
Promoted to Premier Danseur at the Opéra de Paris (1991) and subsequently to Danseur Étoile at Ballet de Nancy under the direction of Pierre Lacotte
École de Danse de l'Opéra de Paris (Paris Opera Ballet School)
