Soprano (lyric)
Eva Ganizate's career, though brief, traced the arc of a lyric soprano of exceptional musicality and interpretive intelligence. Beginning with student productions at the Guildhall School in 2008, she progressed rapidly through European opera houses and concert halls, earning major competition prizes and securing roles at the Opéra-Comique and Festival d'Aix-en-Provence by her early twenties. Her simultaneous enrollment at two of Europe's most prestigious advanced training institutions at the time of her death in 2014 suggested an artist on the threshold of an international career of considerable promise.
