Gavin McCaig

Career Trajectory

McCaig began his dance training at seven, progressing through tap, jazz, and hip-hop before transitioning to classical vocational study at The Dance School of Scotland. At sixteen, he received a scholarship to English National Ballet School, where he trained for three years and made his professional debut with Scottish Ballet in Christopher Hampson's *Hansel & Gretel* during his final year. He subsequently joined Northern Ballet, establishing himself as a performer across classical and contemporary repertoire while increasingly pursuing choreography and arts leadership roles.
