Baritone
Zapiór's trajectory traces the path of a disciplined vocalist who combined rigorous Polish musical training with advanced study at America's most selective conservatory, emerging as a competition-tested baritone of considerable range and dramatic intelligence. His early twenties were devoted to mastering the international vocal competition circuit, where he accumulated prestigious awards that validated his technical foundation and interpretive maturity. Since establishing himself as a soloist at Komische Oper Berlin, he has consolidated a reputation as a versatile interpreter of the great baritone roles, equally at home in the dramatic complexity of Don Giovanni and the comedic brilliance of Papageno.
Winner, The Gerda Lissner Foundation International Vocal Competition (2018)
