Trained from childhood through the nation's premier conservatories and mentored by legendary mezzo Marilyn Horne, Isabel Leonard made her professional debut in 2007 and swiftly established herself as a mezzo-soprano of exceptional versatility and interpretive depth. Her luminous voice and psychological acuity have earned her prominent roles at the Metropolitan Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, San Francisco Opera, and Europe's leading houses, culminating in the prestigious Richard Tucker Award in 2013.
