Jake Arditti began his professional life as a child performer, singing Yniold in Debussy's Pelléas et Mélisande at Glyndebourne and the English National Opera around age eleven. After completing his conservatory training under distinguished pedagogues, he emerged as an adult artist with a breakthrough performance as Othniel in Handel's Joshua for Opera North, which established his reputation as an interpreter of Baroque heroic roles. Over the past decade, he has become a principal interpreter of Handel's greatest male roles at the world's most prestigious opera houses, from Vienna to Sydney, while maintaining an active concert and oratorio career.
