Beginning as a freelance chorus artist in the early 2000s, Julien Joguet established himself within the Paris Opera's ensemble before transitioning to regular solo appearances beginning in 2013. His interpretations of character roles—from Mozart's aristocratic Commendatore to Rossini's comic Basilio—have earned him a secure place in the French operatic establishment. Now in his mid-career, he continues to balance ensemble and solo work, bringing a seasoned musicality to both canonical and contemporary repertoire.
Secured tenured position as soloist with the Opéra national de Paris (2010)
Angers Conservatory (prize for voice and chamber music, 2005); Collège La Perverie Sacré-cœur, Nantes (1989–1996)
