Emerging from Temple University's musical theatre program in 2018, Katie Horner quickly established herself as a rare breed of performer-creator—equally at home as Vi Petty in the national tour of *Buddy – The Buddy Holly Story* and as a composer developing new musical theatre work. Her regional theatre career has spanned prestigious venues from Paper Mill Playhouse to ZACH Theatre, marked by her distinctive ability to inhabit actor-musician roles that demand both vocal sophistication and instrumental fluency. With acceptance into the BMI Lehman Engel Workshop in 2023, she has begun to crystallize her identity as a composer-performer, positioning herself at the intersection of classical vocal training and contemporary musical storytelling.
