Defining moments and milestones
From her debut as a prize-winning flutist at Carnegie Hall in 1989 to her conducting debut with the National Arts Centre Orchestra of Canada at age 23, Keri-Lynn Wilson charted a course toward becoming one of the world's most accomplished opera conductors. Over three decades, she has commanded the orchestras of the Metropolitan Opera, Bolshoi Theatre, Wiener Staatsoper, and Opéra national de Paris, breaking gender barriers as the first woman to conduct at the Arena di Verona and the New National Theatre Tokyo.
