Soprano (lyric-coloratura)
Latvian-Ukrainian
Nabucodonosor as Anna · Teatro alla Scala · Jun 9, 2026
Perešivana emerged from London's conservatory system as a technically accomplished soprano with particular facility in coloratura roles, progressing through the competitive young artist pipeline of the English National Opera and National Opera Studio before securing a prestigious position at La Scala's academy in 2023. Her early career has been marked by competition success—including a second-prize finish at the Kathleen Ferrier Awards and recognition at the Tenor Viñas competition—and by steady engagement across British regional opera companies and increasingly at La Scala, where she has performed in both canonical Verdi works and contemporary commissions. At twenty-nine, she stands at the threshold of an international career, with the technical refinement and institutional backing to sustain a significant presence in the European opera houses.
Second Prize at the Kathleen Ferrier Awards (2021) and Extraordinary Prize at the 54th Tenor Viñas International Singing Contest; appointed Soloist of La Scala Academy of Lyric Opera (2023–2025)
Guildhall School of Music & Drama (Bachelor of Music in Vocal Studies, 2019); Royal Academy of Music (London)
