Principal Dancer
A French-Norwegian étoile of the Paris Opera Ballet celebrated for her luminous technique and joyful stage presence across the classical and contemporary repertoire.
Defining moments and milestones
Baulac entered the Paris Opera Ballet's corps de ballet in 2008 at eighteen, having already demonstrated exceptional promise by winning a gold medal at the Caen International Competition at age eleven. Her rise through the company's ranks was methodical and assured, marked by increasingly complex role assignments that showcased both her classical refinement and interpretive intelligence. Her promotion to Danseuse Étoile on December 31, 2016, following a critically acclaimed performance as Odette/Odile, established her as one of France's leading classical dancers and a major interpreter of the nineteenth-century canon.
