Principal Dancer
A Brazilian principal dancer with The Royal Ballet, Leticia Stock has established herself as a vivacious interpreter of classical and contemporary repertoire, from the ethereal Nutcracker to cutting-edge works by McGregor and Scarlett.
Defining moments and milestones
Stock's trajectory from Rio de Janeiro to London's Royal Opera House exemplifies the international pathways available to exceptional young dancers. Her Prix de Lausanne award at sixteen accelerated her entry into The Royal Ballet's upper school, where she distinguished herself in both classical and contemporary work before graduating into the company in 2009. Six years later, her promotion to First Artist cemented her status as a principal-level interpreter of the classical canon and a trusted collaborator in the creation of new works.
