First Soloist
A luminous Russian ballerina who emerged from the Vaganova Academy to become one of the Mariinsky Ballet's most radiant interpreters of the classical repertoire, distinguished by her technical brilliance and ethereal stage presence.
Defining moments and milestones
Trained at the Vaganova Ballet Academy under the celebrated pedagogue Lyudmila Kovaleva, Khoreva made her professional debut in summer 2018 as Terpsichore in Balanchine's *Apollo* at the Mariinsky Theatre, immediately establishing herself as a dancer of exceptional refinement. Her rapid ascent has been punctuated by major international recognitions, including the inaugural perfect score on Russia's "Grand Ballet" competition (2020), the Carmen Mateu Young Artist European Award (2019), and the Grand Prix at the Beijing International Ballet Competition (2021). Now a First Soloist at the Mariinsky, she commands the full classical repertoire with luminous authority, from the lyrical depths of *La Bayadère* to the technical apotheosis of *Swan Lake*, positioning herself among the most significant voices of her generation.
Winner of Russia's "Grand Ballet" television competition (2020), achieving the show's first-ever perfect score for a variation from *Paquita*
