Emerging from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama with a Laurence Olivier Bursary, Nina Cassells has rapidly established herself as a versatile stage actress, moving fluidly between institutional venues and independent theatre. Her early professional work spans classical drama—notably Abigail Williams in *The Crucible* at The Yard Theatre and Princess Elizabeth in Natalie Abrahami's provocative *Swive* at Shakespeare's Globe—alongside contemporary work including the Fringe hit *Playfight*, which transferred to Bristol Old Vic and Soho Theatre. With her recent casting as Pauline Fossil in the National Theatre's 2025–2026 production of *Ballet Shoes*, she continues to consolidate her position as a distinctive voice in British theatre.
