Oli Higginson is an English actor, writer and musician. He is best known internationally for his recurring role as Footman John on the Netflix period drama Bridgerton (2020–). His theatre work has included the role of Jamie in the West End production of The Last Five Years which earned him a Stage Debut Award nomination, and Cassio in Othello at Shakespeare's Globe for which he was nominated for an Ian Charleson Award. He writes and records music under the alter-ego Modern Oli.
