Pauline Bayle founded her production company À Tire-d'aile in 2011 while still a student at the Conservatoire, launching a career that would establish her as a major force in contemporary French theatre through bold adaptations of classical texts and original dramatic work. Her breakthrough came with her Homer diptych—*Iliade* (2015) and *Odyssée* (2017)—which earned widespread critical acclaim and the 2018 Jean-Jacques Lerrant Prize for theatrical revelation. Since her appointment as director of the Théâtre Public de Montreuil in 2022, she has consolidated her position as one of France's most significant theatrical voices, balancing ambitious repertoire work with emerging artists.
