Pierre Marais began his professional career in film, appearing alongside Jean-Claude Van Damme in Wake of Death, before establishing himself in musical theatre on Broadway. Over the past decade, he has accumulated credits in major productions including Aladdin and Sunset Boulevard, progressing from ensemble and understudy roles to assumption of the lead role of Joe Gillis in Jamie Lloyd's 2024 Tony Award-winning revival. Simultaneously, he has built a parallel career as an award-winning filmmaker and director, demonstrating the kind of artistic polymathy increasingly essential to contemporary performing artists.
