Career Trajectory

From her earliest training in her mother's Bakersfield studio through her formative years studying the Balanchine technique under master teachers, Tiler Peck developed into a dancer of exceptional technical command and interpretive sophistication. She joined New York City Ballet as an apprentice in 2004 at fifteen, and by 2009 had ascended to principal dancer—a position she has held with distinction across the full spectrum of the company's classical and contemporary repertoire.
