Baritone (Verdi baritone)
Sulimsky emerged from the Mariinsky Academy to become a principal soloist at the Mariinsky Theatre in 2004, establishing himself as a master of the Verdi baritone repertoire through performances of commanding vocal authority and interpretive depth. His international breakthrough arrived with Christof Loy's production of Tchaikovsky's *Charodeyka* at the Theater an der Wien in 2014, followed by Grammy nomination recognition for his Shostakovich recording and Russia's highest theatrical honors, including the Golden Sofit. Today, he stands as one of Europe's most sought-after baritones, a figure of established international standing whose artistry continues to define the contemporary Verdi baritone.
