A classically trained dancer who joined the Royal Ballet at eighteen and rose to principal rank, Trevitt distinguished himself through his interpretive range across the canonical repertoire while collaborating with the era's most progressive choreographers. In 2001, he and Michael Nunn co-founded BalletBoyz, transforming their shared artistic vision into a company that has become synonymous with intelligent, boundary-pushing contemporary dance. Over two decades as artistic director and choreographer, Trevitt has established BalletBoyz as a vital force in British culture, recognized by his 2012 OBE and sustained by productions that reach audiences across theatre, television, and film.
