Mezzo-Soprano (belter)
Beginning as a dancer at age seven, Villanueva discovered acting at twelve and voice at seventeen, building a multidisciplinary foundation that culminated in her Howard University BFA and a prestigious scholarship to study at the British Academy of Dramatic Art. Her Broadway debut in 2016's Shuffle Along marked her entry into professional musical theatre, where she has worked as both ensemble performer and understudy, leveraging her distinctive mezzo voice and trained physicality. Now in her established career phase, she continues to perform while developing original dramatic and cinematic work as a writer and director.
