A jewel of Chicago's Theatre District, the Cadillac Palace Theatre opened in 1926 as a lavish vaudeville and movie palace designed by the firm of Rapp and Rapp. Its ornate French Baroque interior, with gilded plasterwork and a grand lobby, was meticulously restored in 1999 to host major Broadway touring productions. The 2,300-seat house has since welcomed some of the most celebrated musicals of the modern era. As a cornerstone of the Broadway In Chicago circuit, the Cadillac Palace remains one of the Midwest's most glamorous destinations for theatrical spectacle.

Generally regarded as having good acoustics, particularly from the Balcony section. The 1999 complete restoration likely included acoustic infrastructure updates.

Best Seats

Orchestra center rows J through P offer the ideal balance of proximity and unobstructed sightlines. Dress Circle and front rows of the Mezzanine also provide excellent views. Avoid far left/right sections which offer angled views.
