The lobby and bar areas can become crowded during intermission. Arrive early to secure a drink. The hall's acoustics are legendary, but the social experience is equally important—many patrons use intermission to network and observe who else is in the room.

Public Transit

The A/C/E subway lines stop at 59th Street–Columbus Circle, a 5-minute walk south. The 1/2 lines stop at 59th Street, also nearby. The N/R/W stop at 57th Street–Seventh Avenue is directly adjacent. From Penn Station, take the A/C/E north or walk 10 minutes.

Parking

Street parking in Midtown is scarce and metered. The nearest commercial garage is the Midtown Manhattan Garage (multiple locations within two blocks), typically $20–$35 for evening events. Ride-share drop-off is on Seventh Avenue; allow 5–10 minutes for traffic.
