Los Angeles's flagship nonprofit theatre company, Center Theatre Group has shaped American drama since its founding in 1967. Operating three distinct venues — the Ahmanson Theatre, Mark Taper Forum, and Kirk Douglas Theatre — it commands an unrivaled presence in the city's performing arts landscape. CTG has premiered numerous works that transferred to Broadway, earning Tony Awards and cementing its role as a vital pipeline for new American playwriting. Its programming reflects the extraordinary diversity of Los Angeles itself, spanning bold new voices and reimagined classics.
