Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay is Singapore's national performing arts center, a striking architectural landmark on Marina Bay whose distinctive durian-shaped domes have become an iconic part of the city skyline. Opened in 2002, the complex houses a 1,600-seat concert hall, a theatre, recital studios, and outdoor performance spaces that host over 3,000 performances a year across all genres.
