The Imperial Theatre is one of Broadway's most distinguished musical houses, designed by Herbert J. Krapp and opened in 1923 by the Shubert Organization. Its 1,417-seat auditorium has hosted an extraordinary succession of landmark musicals, from Annie to Les Miserables to The Boy from Oz.
