Main entrance on West 45th Street between Eighth and Ninth Avenues. The theater is directly accessible from the street; Shubert Alley (the passageway between the Shubert and Booth theaters) provides an atmospheric secondary approach and connects to the broader Theater District.

The Jacobs' bar and lobby are modest by Broadway standards—expect crowding during intermission. The theater's location on West 45th Street means quick access to the broader Theater District if you prefer to step outside; Shubert Alley is immediately adjacent and offers a quieter, more atmospheric interval experience.

Public Transit

Excellent public transit access. Nearest subway stations: 42nd Street–Port Authority (A, C, E trains; 2-minute walk), 42nd Street (1, 2, 3 trains; 3-minute walk), Times Square–42nd Street (N, Q, R, W trains; 4-minute walk). The M42 crosstown bus also serves the area. Exit at any 42nd Street station and walk south one block to West 45th Street.

Parking

Street parking in Midtown Manhattan is notoriously difficult. Nearest parking garages are within a 2–5 minute walk; typical rates range $15–$25 for evening events. Ride-share drop-off is available on West 45th Street, though traffic congestion is common during theater hours.
