Tips from the regulars
Entrance
The main entrance faces West 47th Street. For first-timers, approach from the Times Square side (east) and look for the marquee; the theatre sits mid-block between Broadway and Eighth Avenue. Street-level entry is straightforward.
Intermission
The lobby will be crowded during intermission—this is a mid-sized house with a full house. The bar moves quickly if you arrive immediately when the lights come up. Restrooms are adequate but expect a queue. Step outside onto 47th Street if you need air; the theatre sits on a busy block, but a brief walk clears the crowd.
Accessibility
Data on wheelchair accessibility, elevator locations, and accessible seating policy is not currently available. Contact the box office directly at +1 212-719-4099 to confirm accessible seating availability and any specific accommodations needed.
Transit, parking & directions
Public Transit
Exceptional transit access. The 42nd Street–Port Authority station (A, C, E trains) is one block south; the 42nd Street station (1, 2, 3 trains) is one block east. The M42 crosstown bus stops nearby. From Penn Station, take the A or C uptown one stop. From Grand Central, walk west 10 minutes or take the 1, 2, or 3 south one stop.
Parking
Street parking in Times Square is notoriously difficult. The nearest commercial garages are within a 2-5 minute walk: the Port Authority parking facility (42nd Street at Eighth Avenue, roughly $20–$35 for evening) and various private lots throughout the block. Ride-share drop-off is feasible on 47th Street itself, though congestion is typical.
