Built inside the Marriott Marquis hotel in 1986, the Marquis is one of Broadway's newest theatres. Its construction controversially replaced the beloved Helen Hayes and Morosco theatres, but it has since become a major house for large-scale productions.
Acoustics, seating, and what to expect
State-of-the-art modern acoustics designed for excellent sound clarity, particularly well-suited for musical productions. Center Orchestra and Center Mezzanine sections offer optimal acoustic experience, though side Orchestra sections may experience occasional sound mixing inconsistencies.
Center Orchestra rows C-H and Center Mezzanine rows A-C offer the best balance of sightlines and acoustics. Front rows of Center Orchestra are considered premium, while Row A of Center Mezzanine provides an elevated perspective with excellent views.
