Tips from the regulars
Entrance
The main entrance is at 79 E 4th Street, East Village. First-time visitors should approach from the Bowery or from Avenue A; the theater sits in a residential block, and street-level signage is modest.
Intermission
The 198-seat capacity means the lobby fills quickly during intermission. The bar area is modest; arrive early or plan to step outside onto 4th Street, where the neighborhood offers nearby cafés and bars.
Accessibility
Wheelchair accessibility status is not documented. Contact the box office directly to confirm accessible seating availability and elevator access to the theater space.
Transit, parking & directions
Public Transit
The F/M subway line (Broadway–Lafayette station) is the closest major stop, approximately 0.3 miles north. The L train (1st Ave station) is also accessible. From either stop, a 5–7 minute walk reaches the theater.
Parking
Street parking in the East Village is notoriously difficult. The nearest commercial lots are several blocks away on the Bowery or near Houston Street; expect $15–25 for evening parking. Ride-share drop-off is feasible on 4th Street itself, though traffic can be congested.
