An all-star line-up for an operatic classic: Puccini’s Tosca comes to Festival Cap Rocat with a cast boasting rare vocal firepower. Norwegian soprano Lise Davidsen takes the title role, with Freddie de Tommaso as Tosca’s lover, the painter Cavaradossi. French baritone Ludovic Tézier appears in one of his signature roles as the vengeful, manipulative police chief Scarpia. It adds up to three of today’s great voices in one of opera’s most gripping confrontations of love, power, faith and violence. For this concert performance from August 2026, Pablo Mielgo conducts the Symphony Orchestra of the Balearic Islands in Cap Rocat’s breathtaking setting. For sheer star quality, this Tosca promises to be a major operatic event.
