
La Gioconda unfolds in Venice during the seventeenth century, weaving together passion, betrayal, and sacrifice against the backdrop of political intrigue and social hierarchy. Gioconda, a street singer of humble birth, loves Enzo, a Genoese nobleman in disguise.
