A Woman of No Importance

At a country house party, the ambitious young Gerald Arbuthnot is offered a position as secretary to the worldly Lord Illingworth. But Gerald's puritanical mother recognises Illingworth as the man who seduced and abandoned her years ago, Gerald's own father.
