Synopsis
Jess has a great life: a job she loves as a therapist, a sharp sense of humour, and a close group of friends. But when austerity measures strip away her disability benefits and her car is taken, the world she has worked hard to build begins to crumble. Inspired by real experiences of disabled people in the UK, Francesca Martinez's passionate and funny play captures the human cost of a system that abandons those who struggle to fit in.
